The Sport Of Surfing And Why It Is More Popular Than Ever

By Gregg Hall Surfing is the kind of sport where the person sits out past the break and is waiting for a wave to come so they can paddle and try to catch it before it breaks so that they can ride it and get a good ride. You just get out past the break and you sit on your board until you see a wave coming and then when you start to see waves coming you just get ready to start paddling and then you try and throw yourself into the wave and try to stand up. People in Hawaii made huge wood boards and would get in the water and paddle themselves out in the water and then paddle and ride the waves as they broke over the shallow sand or reefs. They were later made from lighter wood and wood soon become made out of fiberglass and epoxy. That is because they wanted to make surfboards more durable yet light weight and easy to carry and use. Why Bungee Jumping Has Spread Into The Mainstream

More info... By Gregg Hall Bungee jumping is quite a dangerous sport and quite the adrenaline rush as well. You can jump from all kinds of places you just need to learn how to jump before you make your move. To make your jumps even more insane you can jump from moving bases like a helicopter, hot air balloon or something like that. There are no limits really when it comes to bungee jumping. The word bungee came around in the 1930s but the first bungee jump didn't happen until 1979. They used some kind of vine to do there bungee jumps with but I would figure that would hurt their feet as they fell and then were snapped back up that would sound like it would rip there ankles away from there legs. I don't know how it is supposed to work but I guess it did. A J Hackett of New Zealand was the first one to do a commercial bungee jump. Even though many other people had already done many jumps he was the first one to jump from monuments like Tag it:
